As some of you may know, I never imagined I would one day be a father. Two years into marriage, Sweta arrived at the conclusion that children are a necessity. She recruited friends and family to pray for her “cause”, and herself fasted and prayed. This blog is a testament that the Lord answers prayers; “He is faithful and He will do it”…

    Hi all,
Well, Miss Shayna Grace is 3 months old as of this past Saturday (Aug 23rd). She is growing up to be a very sweet little girl. She’s smiling, playing, making eye contact a lot more than she use to. She has found her hands, she is constantly looking at them, she holds them together like she is praying – who knows maybe she is, and when she’s not doing that she is chewing on them. She is babbling, cooing and of course slobbering all the the time. Everyone still says that she looks like daddy, which is fine because she has my loud voice like her mommy and I am happy with that!!! 🙂
Shayna went on her first road trip (well a long one) to Lake Havasu, Arizona to visit her Dada (my dad)and Mama(my bro). Going there was a nightmare but once she was there she did great. We will post the pictures as soon as possible.
Unfortunately I’m going back to work as of the 2nd, luckly it’s only for four hours but I am really gonna miss my baby girl. Her and I usually wake up together. She wakes up with a huge smile and a lot to say in the morning. We talk for about an hour then nana, Shayna and I have breakfast then we hang out some more – I will miss all that.
As I mentioned we will post new pictures of her as soon as possible.

    God Bless and take care

    Love,
    Sweta
